Accommodation and Cost of living per month
Most universities in Australia offer on-campus residence facilities to international students. You can also choose off-campus accommodation wherein you can share apartments with other students from Sri Lanka or stay with a local Australian family. The rent is usually paid every two weeks in advance. Remember, the rentals vary from city to city.
Average food cost will be AUD 800 per month upwords for self-cooking per person.

International students in Australia on a valid student visa can work for up to 20 hours per week while school is in session, and there is no limit on the number of hours an international student can work during recognized school vacations.
